DEPARTMENT OF Electronics Profile

Department profile of Electronics:
Established in 2004, the Department of Electronics began offering a full-time B.Sc. program in Electronics (M.E.Cs.). From 2004 to 2014, examinations followed an annual pattern, transitioning in 2015 to a semester system as per Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) guidelines.
Overview
Electronics plays a vital role across physical, biological, and social sciences, making foundational courses in calculus and related subjects essential for students pursuing careers in these fields. The Department of Electronics offers comprehensive undergraduate education, teaching a diverse range of topics aligned with industry standards and academic advancements.
Currently, the department offers a three-year B.Sc. in Electronics program, structured under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS).
Core coursescovered during the first five semesters include:
1)Electronic Devices and Circuits
2)Semiconductors
3)Digital Electronics
4)Analog and Digital IC Applications
5)Microprocessor 8085 and PPI Interfacing
6)Electronic Communication
In the 6th semester, students choose from the following Open Elective Clusters:
