Department profile of English:

Established in 1997, the Department of English plays a pivotal role in shaping the linguistic and communicative abilities of students across various undergraduate programs, including B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.A., B.A., and Bi.Z.C., as part of the UGC curriculum.

The department actively organizes webinars, quizzes, literary competitions, and other academic enrichment activities to foster student engagement and enhance language proficiency. In addition to academic initiatives, the department encourages students to participate in sports, NSS, NCC, and various extracurricular and cultural programs, promoting holistic development.
