Rules and Regulations

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS

     

          Upon admission to any course at the college, students are required to adhere to the following rules and regulations:


            1. Compulsory Attendance at National and Institutional Events
              All students must be present for the following occasions:
              a) Independence Day
              b) Republic Day
              c) Birth and death anniversaries of notable Indian personalities
              d) College Day

             2. Course Withdrawal Policy
              If a student discontinues the course at any point, they are required to pay the full remaining tuition fees for all semesters (up to four) before receiving their certificates.

             3. Identity Card Requirement
              Students must carry their identity cards on campus at all times and present them upon request by college authorities.

             4. Mobile Phone Usage
              Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited within the college campus.

              5. Participation in Academic and Enrichment Activities
                Attendance at guest lectures, seminars, debates, field visits, and other enrichment activities organized by the college is mandatory as part of overall personality development.

              6. Attendance Requirement
                A minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practical classes is required to be eligible for term-end examinations.

               7. Involvement in Extracurricular Activities
                 Students are encouraged to actively participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities conducted by the college.

               8. Parking Regulations
                 Vehicles must be parked only in the designated parking area. Bicycles should be secured with a proper locking system. The college is not responsible for vehicles parked outside the campus.

               9. Academic Submissions
                  Completion of home assignments, internal tests, tutorials, and seminars is mandatory for all students.

              10. Communication with Parents/Guardians
                  The college reserves the right to communicate student performance and progress to parents or guardians.

               11. Absenteeism and Fines
                  Students who are absent from classes without prior approval or valid reason will be subject to fines as determined by the college.

               12. Notice Board Communication
                    Students must regularly check the notice boards for important updates regarding examinations, scholarships, and placement opportunities.

               13. Conduct and Discipline
                     Misbehaviour or misconduct of any kind will be treated as a serious offense and may lead to disciplinary action.

                14.Damage to Property
                       Any damage caused to college property by a student will be charged to the student(s) responsible.

                15. Anti-Ragging Policy
                        Students must submit an undertaking against ragging. Any involvement in ragging will result in strict disciplinary action, including possible suspension or expulsion.

                 16. Uniform Requirement
                               Wearing the prescribed college uniform is compulsory for all students while on campus.
