Department profile of Sanskrit:

            1. The Department of Sanskrit, since its inception in 1997, has been committed to nurturing a deep understanding of India's classical language and cultural heritage. Through its integration in diverse undergraduate programs, the department offers Sanskrit as a second language and provides students with exposure to ancient texts, Vedic                          literature, grammar, linguistics, and moral values rooted in Indian tradition.

            2. With a semester-based CBCS model, the curriculum is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring academic rigor. The department also emphasizes interdisciplinary            learning, helping students draw connections between classical knowledge and contemporary life.

      3. The faculty actively engage in teaching, mentoring, and academic research, encouraging students to participate in language-related competitions, cultural programs,and traditional literary activities.
