    Sri Vani Degree and P.G.College are committed to making substantial advancements in enriching the overall educational experience for students through the implementation of the following strategies:

  Academic Excellence:

  Objective: To regularly monitor and enhance academic processes.

  Action Steps

       1. Establish a mechanism for resolving academic issues faced by students by facilitating regular interactions between the faculty and the students representatives.

            2. Collect feedback from students, faculty, and stakeholder.

            3. Conduct periodic internal and external academic audit.

            4. Improve teaching and learning processes on the basis of recommendations of audit findings.

            5. Upgrade to PG department of science courses.

Students Overall Wellbeing:

Objective: To ensure holistic well-being of students by addressing their physical and psychological components of health and making fitness an integral part of their daily lives.

Action Steps:

            1. Procure state of art fitness items and equipment

            2. Spread awareness on fitness and conduct events promoting sports, yoga and indigenous games

            3. Encourage students to use the gym on campus

            4. Appoint a dedicated counsellor

             5. Conduct mental health awareness campaigns

             6. Establish a support system for students facing psychological issues

Pedagogical Adaptation:

Objective: To align teaching methods with the National Education Policy, 2020.

Action Steps:

               1. Encourage the use of technology in teaching by providing necessary infrastructure

               2. Form an exclusive committee for devising innovative teaching methods

               3. Provide training to faculty on innovative pedagogies

               4. Develop and also subscribe to case-study materials for various course

Infrastructure Development:

Objective: To assess current infrastructure and make changes.

Action Steps:

                1. Get a thorough infrastructure assessment by competent professionals

                2. Allocate resources for necessary improvements and expansions

                3. Prioritise technological upgrades and safety measures

                4. Renovate classrooms to create conducive learning environment

                5. Implement disability-friendly infrastructure, including establishment of lifts.

Safety and Security enhancement:

Objective: upgrade to a safer and more secure environment.

Action Steps:

              A) Collaborate with local authorities for enhanced security

Integration of Technology:

Objective: Implement cutting-edge record-keeping technology.

Action Steps:

              1. Conduct a survey to identify, choose, and implement integrated record-keeping software

              2. Enhance the library software for streamlined information management

              3. Deliver training sessions to staff for optimal utilization of the technology

              4. Establish a routine for the regular maintenance and updates of the system

Career Development:

Objective: To facilitate comprehensive career development for students.

Action Steps:

                1. Boost thedevelopment of entrepreneurship, leadership, and management skills

                2. Collaborate with more industries for internships and skill enhancement initiatives

                3. Enhance  job prospects and career advancement opportunities

Competitive Exam Preparation:

Objective: To relaunch an intensive preparatory programme for competitive exams.

Action Steps:

                 1. Engage with experienced faculty and external experts

                 2. Conduct workshops, mock exams, and provide personalized guidance

                 3. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the programme

Faculty Development:

Objective: To invest in the continuous development of educators.

Action Steps:

                 1. Conduct more Faculty Development Programmes

                 2. Provide opportunities for training and capacity building workshops

                 3. Facilitate participation in conferences and research

Library

Objective: To digitalize the library in all three wings of the college

                1. Reviewing library policies periodically for resources, services, and the facility

                2. Periodic upgrading of library as per UGC norms

                3. Establishment of a fully digitalized Learning Resource Center in the library

Research Initiatives and Recognition:

Objective: To promote and support research across departments and recognize outstanding contributions.

Action Steps:

                  1. Modification of  research labs, language labs and faculty workstations

                  2. Organize research symposiums

                  3. Conduct workshops on research techniques

                  4. Facilitate real-world applications through academic research projects

                  5. Subscribe to high quality research journals and e-resources

IQAC

OBJECTIVE: Development of a conscious, consistent system with improved administrative and academic efficacy

                 1.  Introduction of new plans for proper quality assurance and academic excellence in the College

                 2. Undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programs

            3. Ensuring feedback management at different levels (Students/ Employees/ Parents) for better results and academic upliftment

                 4. Conduct students satisfaction survey

                 5. Periodic management of CAS promotions of eligible faculty members

                 6. Develop data management system for NIRF and NAAC assessments

Alumni

OBJECTIVE: To develop a strong Alumni Association

           1. Strengthen the placement cell of the College with a greater number of opportunities through alumni interaction.

                  2. To update the record of Alumni Association.

                  3. To organise an annual function of the Association.

                  4. Invite suggestions and support from illustrious alumni for academic enhancements.

                  5. Raise funds from alumni association for creating or adding physical infrastructure.

Environmental Sustainability:

Objective: Maintain the present eco-friendly practices and audits.

Action Steps:

            1. Install a sewage treatment plant within the college premises.

            2. Integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.

            3. Implement corrective actions for improvement.

            4. Work towards complete waste management.

            5. Encouraging more students to participate in environmental sustainability and stewardship programs.

Community Engagement:

Objective: To promote community development through outreach activities.

Action Steps:

          1. Sensitise students through visits to old age homes, orphanages, slums, Reddypalli open-air Jail and such places.

              2. Increasing more  number of partnerships with local NGOs and Government agencies.

              3. Adopt nearby villages for holistic community development.

Inclusivity and Cultural Sensitivity:

Objective: To cultivate a diverse and inclusive campus that upholds equality, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

Action Steps:

              1. Provide diversity and inclusion training for staff and students.

              2. Develop and implement policies that promote equality and cultural sensitivity.

              3. Organise events and initiatives to celebrate the diversity of the campus community.

         4. Acknowledge and appreciate all forms of diversity- gender, religious, regional, caste-based and disability related thereby adopting practices that meet their specific needs as well as accommodate all groups.

                     By systematically implementing these strategies, Sri Vani Degree and PG College can cultivate an environment conducive to progressive learning and ensure the comprehensive development of both students and faculty.
